Teesha Moore
Down the Rabbit Hole with Teesha

In this technique-packed, 3-day workshop, we will start off by making an 8x8 hard bound journal with 60 pages of my favorite journaling paper. While learning useful bookbinding techniques, I will teach you how to combine collage & paint along with 3-dimensional technique's that will give depth to your covers. Also, learn how to make charms using your own art that we will hang from the spine and also make a couple pieces of jewelry from for fun.
Once the journal is complete, we'll start journaling in it as we go through all the steps I use to create my pages. These include painting the backgrounds, collage, composition, using pens, pencils and crayons, drawing, lettering and a discussion on what exactly to write on your pages and why. If you have taken my journaling workshop before, you have the option of creating a day planner in your journal using some of the same techniques. It's something I've been having lots of fun with lately.
There's a lot to cover in 3 days but I want you to go home with tons of techniques and ideas that you can incorporate into other projects in addition to being well on your way as a journal artist.
