This is a needle felting / character design workshop. Being an illustrator, needle felting is my favorite fiber medium because it allows me to draw in a three-dimensional form. You can add and take away at a moments notice allowing for you to discover your creature as you go rather than having to plan every detail from the beginning. We will be learn- ing the basics of needle felting and with this medium create a world of fantastical creatures. I will share my method / process of developing char- acter designs and each individual will leave with alteast one little companion.

kit fee: $7       supply list

• wool roving: colors you really like, i will provide the basics. The softer the better, and you dont need that much i usually like to get 12-24" of length depending on how much i like the color.

• piece of foam
• a basic set of wool roving

I graduated from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in 2007. I am a comic artist and webdesigner.
