Thank you for choosing a day of Creative Instinct. This full day workshop will be an out-of-the-box experience using found objects, natural elements, photography (provided) and self reflection to cultivate the connection between our world and our artwork. Each participant will construct two mixed media projects based on the concepts of creative impulse. One will be an individual construction of a Nature Altar outside. The altars will then become the photo subject of our Creative Instinct “canvases” that each participant will complete in the second half of the day.

We are going to be using our incredible setting at Fort Warden as the backdrop for constructing individual Nature Altars. With access to the beach we will spend some focused time outside during the morning session & turn the tide in afternoon from 3 dimensional artwork to our 2 dimensional artworks. Weather can vary so please dress comfortably. Personal cameras are optional. Polaroid photos will be available for all.

Each person will receive a kit from me. There is no additional kit fee for this class.
