Lets consider bumpy surfaces and impasto paint.
This class will produce textured backgrounds using thick paints, collage. papers, stencils and found objects. Then we will consider everything that can be done on these surfaces.. Pouring, dry-brush, mono-printing, gold leaf, rub and buff, glaze, powder, and sanding. We will discuss how to turn a background into a foreground. Finally we will see what can be done with these lovely surfaces and produce a final project. We will conclude the class with an epoxy pour for another type of surface. Come prepared to work hard and fast. If you think your work is too boring or acrylic too predictable, this is the class for you.
Part one and part two are separate classes that stand alone.
