Sketch It / Paint It

Bee Shay

Wish you could draw/paint but don’t think you can? Come and spend the day learning how to give your photographs a painterly quality. We will start by transforming simple black and white copies into “sketches” and then learn how to take it another step or two further and create paintings and or collages from the photos. I will provide the photocopies for you to work with during the first part of the class.

This method takes the guess work out of the equation and will yield interesting and quick results in your work. Come prepared to work quickly in the morning but the pace will slow into the afternoon as you gather experience and can play and experiment a little more with guidance and suggestions readily available on the photocopy that you have chosen to bring that has personal meaning or content. This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience.
