The Girly-Girl Bag!


This is a workshop where you learn to explore some of the endless possibilities in freestyle machine embroidery. You can finally make use of all those fabric-scraps, ribbons and beads lying around. Using techniques as applique and freestyle machine-embroidery, you will make your very own and quite unique purse or bag.
Supply List:
- a sewing machine, make sure you can lower the transporter for freehand embroidery
- a freehand embroidery foot for your sewing-machine
- scissors
- needles/ pins
- extra sewing machine needles
- 1 yard of fronting fabric
- 1 yard of cotton backing fabric
- scraps of fabric
- scraps of ribbons
- 5 feet ribbon
- 5 feet bias-tape
- a handful of beads for embellishment
- different colors sewing thread
optional:
- 5 inches of vliesofix
- a little skin-colored fabric
- chiffon-fabric-scraps
- metallic-fabric-scraps
- textile markers
- sewing machine manual
- glitter glue
