The Girly-Girl Bag!

This is a workshop where you learn to explore some of the endless possibilities in freestyle machine embroidery. You can finally make use of all those fabric-scraps, ribbons and beads lying around. Using techniques as applique and freestyle machine-embroidery, you will make your very own and quite unique purse or bag. 

Supply List:

• a sewing machine, make sure you can lower the transporter for freehand embroidery
• a freehand embroidery foot for your sewing-machine
• scissors
• needles/ pins  
• extra sewing machine needles
• 1 yard of fronting fabric 
• 1 yard of cotton backing fabric 
• scraps of fabric
• scraps of ribbons
• 5 feet ribbon
• 5 feet bias-tape
• a handful of beads for embellishment
• different colors sewing thread

• 5 inches of vliesofix
• a little skin-colored fabric 
• chiffon-fabric-scraps
• metallic-fabric-scraps
• textile markers
