The cover graphics on old record albums provide a great creativity challenge and a perfect surface for collage and paint. In this class we will use elements of the existing graphics as a starter, to create our own album “cover girls.” We will explore composition, collage and painting techniques with an emphasis on how to integrate the different elements into your final design. We will work on 2 albums at the same time so we can really flex our intuitive creative muscles.
Your finished project can be framed in those great album cover frames or used as a large journal cover. All skill levels.
