How do we take commonplace decorative tins and create perfect little charms out of them? Come create your own wildly fun jewelry or sculpture with an unusual combination of materials including chain, wire, beads, tin, bits of old jewelry, and buttons. I’ll demo how to deconstruct a tin container and have tools available for you to use if you want to deconstruct your own. We’ll examine the tin to find the possibilities hidden within; then we’ll cut, file, punch, link, and stack our shapes. I’ll show you techniques for drawing on and embellishing your tin charms. Next, I’ll demo how to make wire-wrapped loops, spirals, and links to attach beads and found objects. We’ll look at different ways to construct your piece and add sparkle, color and movement. This will be a really fun class-I hope you’ll join me!
