Oh, this is one yummy art journal! There will be no issues with facing down the blank page with this book! This journal will be filled with beautiful paper surfaces ready to ignite your visual journaling, Big Time.
Using acrylic paints in a highly addictive, non-sticky technique, we’ll paint our pages before binding them, adding visual texture and pattern in clever ways. You’ll have a journal of pages painted in your color palette- vibrant or muted, bold or pastel, you choose! This beauty lays flat when opened, for easy journaling, and is designed with fold-out pages for more creative play space inside! For a better look, go to: youtube.com/user/ludwiglk and click on the video titled, Big Time Book.
Big Time Book is bound across re-purposed belts. The binding stitch is fairly simple and quite sturdy. If you have any experience at all making your own journals, you will find this innovative stitch easy-peasy. New to bookbinding and eager to try? This is a stitch you can learn.
