This technique driven class is all about exploring the endless possibilities of polymer clay in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where we can really focus on the process. We will cover the gamut in tile making. Tiles will be painted, powdered, stamped, embedded, collaged, transferred, layered, embossed and gold leafed. I will also share techniques for altering commercial tiles. This is that class where you will be able to use all of that “stuff” you’ve amassed over the years!! We will focus on certain color groups so that by the end of class you will have a gorgeous set of tiles that you can take home and use in mixed media mosaics or a variety of other art projects. Each tile will be a miniature masterpiece and by the end of class you will be “wild about tiles” too! No previous clay experience necessary.
