Recently I saw a large piece of canvas hanging loosely on the wall of an art exhibit, it was a simple painting, but very inspiring. As soon as I could I found a large sheet of canvas and tucked myself away in my studio, where I started applying paint onto the canvas, a little here, a little there...just like a weaver does with thread onto canvas. I kept working, carefully layering paint, designs, images, inks, drawings, onto the canvas, while gaining texture and creating a work of art as a story emerged. That is what I call thriving on inspiration! AND that is what I love about being an artist! Being inspired, and thriving on that feeling, & then creating and seeing what unfolds. Come spend a day with me thriving & creating & unfolding, creating a beautiful work of art to hang on your wall that will tell a story for all those that admire it. This is class for everyone and anyone interested in mixed media acrylic painting, building texture with gel medium, paper, & paint, adding designs & paying attention to detail.
