When I was a child there wasn’t much that compared to a brand new
coloring book and a big box of crayons. You know the one with the
fancy pencil sharpener on the back? Well now the crayons are even
better - and in this class you will be using them along with paint to
create beautiful works of art.
To start things off I will give you a coloring book for artists, where
you will color and shade nicely inside the lines... recreating
masterpieces from other artists that are in coloring book form. Once
we are all warmed up I will help you discover new ways to think
outside the box while you are busy coloring your heart out. Then we
will ease in to our own original crayon drawings, while continuing to
color and paint. During this process, we will cover expressive
drawing, basic color theory, composition, artistic intuition, using
your artistic license, and more. Come spend the day coloring your
heart out!
