At any moment in time, our minds move in a million different directions. Come take a breather; call a time-out while we ponder the transparent and the opaque. Working on Plexiglas (to represent the transparent face we show to the outside world) and Masonite (to expose that opaque side which we normally do not show), we will journal and doodle our two sides of self, developing a book that serves as witness to one singular moment in time.
We'll learn to cut, drill, sew, and rivet the plexi; to draw and paint on the masonite; and to use the strengths of both substrates for layering up our expressive messages. Our journey will be one of serendipity as we watch the magic of symbolic language unfold in each of us.
