If you've ever wanted to try the age old folk art of rug hooking with a new comtemporary look, come join this fun fiber art workshop. You will learn how to hook by creating a little house to hang on the wall. We will be using beautiful hand dyed wool and your kit will contain everything you need to get started: a rug hook, frame, wool, burlap and a choice of house patterns. Wire or fabric hangers will be provided as well as black felt for backing. You can even add a tiny door that opens if you want!
Beginners and returning rug hookers welcome!

Supply List:

• sharp sewing scissors
• sewing needle and black sewing thread
• pinking shears if you have them
• black Sharpie
• a few buttons for decoration
• tiny photo (1" x 2") for doorway if desired
