License to Create

Students will use their own theme to create a unique license plate box that shouts WHIMSY!

Supply List:

• Scissors (not your best scissors); Kitchen Shears will work
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Acrylic paint in favorite colors plus black and white
• A medium sized brush and a small detail brush
• Water container and rags for paint
• Paint Markers
• Black sharpie marker(s)
• Favorite quotes if you have a theme in mind  
  
  Optional:
• Casters (available at Lowe's) if you want wheels for the feet of your box.  I used 1 ¼ inch casters on the car/travel version.
• Small hammer for pounding in nails and tacks (instructor will have some to share)
• Glue gun (instructor will have some to share)
• Additional favorite embellishments and collage papers  
  
  Teacher will Provide:
• All kit materials to build license plate box with dowel feet and hinged lid
• Sandpaper
• Materials to create your box topper
• A selection of embellishments and collage papers
• Instructor will have drills available for students to share for box assembly
