This is a character design and application workshop. I believe that each and everyone of us has our own unique world locked deep within our brains, some have been discovered while other worlds lie in wait. We will be using spontaneous drawing exercises to start releasing our unique creative worlds. As the day progresses we will learn about the use of symbols and how they can add meaning and clarity to your drawings and use this to focus on developing a single character that you feels most embodies your world. Once you found your character you will use him / her to create objects to showcase your world / character to others which will include but not limited to shrinky dink earrings or pendant, a sculpey wrist cuff and a tote. Have no fear, no drawing experience is neccesary simply a willingness to give up control and let your pen move!
Oh and by the way I would like to introduce you to Monsieur and Madame Mustache they are very pleased to meet you!
