Creative Doodles

Explore storytelling with lines, shapes and marks. This workshop is all about seeing things with new eyes and creating art intuitively. You will start out painting a colorful background by making marks with handmade stamps and found tools and then layer randomly cut paper shapes onto the canvas. Let the canvas layers inspire your doodles. Learn techniques for layering marks with paint markers, gel pens and color pencils.

• 3-5 sheets of hot press Fabriano  140lb. watercolor paper (cut down a large piece of paper into smaller pieces)
• Scissors
• 2-1” foam brushes
• 10 favorite pens/markers
• Extra-fine black Sharpie PAINT marker (oil-based)
• Scotch brand permanent roller adhesive
