In this carefree class, you will be able to explore your inner whimsy while journaling your current thoughts and desires. Discover how fun and easy it is to paint on linoleum while creating your 3 foot journal baby. You will learn how to paint with acrylics on linoleum while choosing the teachers template or making one up as you go along. I will teach you how to let go and have fun while creating your journal baby. We will be exploring creative ways to use a Polaroid Pogo Printer, incorporating photos with our journal baby.
Can't draw, don't worry, I will guide you through my simple and easy process. You will go home with 2 completed journal babies. Bring your 5 year old mind!
Supply List:
- Acrylic paint, any kind will do, I use Golden's. Use any colors you like and black for hair. If you don't have any acrylic paint, Dick Blick has a good student set that I like. Dick Blick Blickrylic Student Acrylics 6 pack, item #00711-1049. Make sure you bring enough paint to cover two, 3' areas.
- Graphite pencil
- Large and small paint brushes (I use size 18 - 20, and smaller ones)
- Paint pallet
- Paper towels
- Scissors
- Hair dryer, if bringing on to Artfest
- Freezer paper, or Wax paper (a roll)
Teacher will Provide:
- Linoleum - enough for each student to be able to make two journal babies
