description
Learn how to make patterned and textured paper for use with collage, books and wrapping. The class will experiment with some old techniques and try out some new ones. Printing, rubbings, mono-printing, bumpy surfaces, gold leaf, glazing and more. Working with paper you have designed, printed or created yourself is a real joy. It may be hard to ever go back to paper made by a machine. In some ways, each sheet of hand printed paper is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Alas, this one day class is all about technique and we will not produce a final collage with our paper. You will produce paper for a sample book or to use in a collage at home.
This class stands alone and is for all levels
