Ultimate Art Journal
Thomas & Romona Ashman
This art journal that is as much a work of art as what you will create in it. Using copper sheet metal, a couple of candy tins, some brass hinges, and a little "blackbird magic", students will learn how to fabricate this oversized (11.5" wide x 7.5" tall) all-metal art journal. Then, alter the surface of the metal with patinas and torching techniques and attach tins and pockets to the cover for storing your art supplies and/or tools. Add a decorative handle to carry it with and off you go!
