2-day - description

Literally in this case, the heart pendent lives in the House Shrine when you are not wearing it. Both the pendent and shrine are covered in metal reposse work. The metal work on the house has cut work covering the outside. This allows the colors of the painted shrine to come through and is an exceptional technique for embellishing all kinds of projects Open the shrine’s double doors and a heart pendent hangs inside. The center of the pendent is open and images are layered on mirror and Plexiglas that are inserted into the heart. The heart is then covered in reposse. Class instructions include three patterns, beginners, intermediate, and advanced. Participants can choose one to complete in class. Techniques covered in class are reposse, transferring onto plastics and glass; metal cut work, and tips and tricks on creating reposse jewelry and assembly that emphasizes structure, so that the pieces will hold up.
