Creating Collaged Faces
Katie Kendrick
Using an original sketch or photograph of a face as our guide, we will employ a combination of mixed media techniques and layers of collage to create densely textured and colorful portraits. No drawing or painting skills required. We will suspend judgment and let our intuition guide us as we cut, paste, and paint the creation into being. Each participant is encouraged to work on two faces simultaneously; and at the end of the day, will come away with two frameable pieces of artwork
