The Radical Artist
Sas Colby
This is fast-paced class that experiments with ten or more different
techniques for drawing, painting, printing and making images. First,
we’ll get our minds out of the way and not worry about making anything
specific. This frees us up to splash paint and wield scissors freely.
This is the kind of art you don’t let yourself do alone, but the group
will inspire you to radical heights.
Sas will lead exercises with line, form, space and language. We’ll let
go with chance operations and drawing and constructing with a wide
variety of mixed media materials. The goal is discovery. The end result
is a portfolio of new methods for making art. Suitable for all levels
of experience and for those who dare to experiment.
