Prayer Boxes in Jewelry

Build distinctive personal metal structures in a jewelry art form that is reminiscent of past cultures. In India, these forms are meant to hold special prayers, goals or messages and bring them to fruition. As an American artist, I construct these forms using an array of fabricated metal, wire and found objects. Techniques include Cold connection techniques include attachments by drawing a bead, cold knots, dimensional rivets and alternative cold join forms. Learn an array of new ideas, be introduced to a variety of new tools and finish a pendant prayer box. As time allows build a dimensional wire ring structure and metal forms and work with resin.
