Whenever I mention drawing most people immediately exclaim things such as "I can't draw!...I just wasn't born with it!...I can only draw stick figures!" I'm confounded to understand why this is when drawing is absolutely a skill that everyone can learn, and love!
The biggest misconception is that drawing is a skill of the hand. It is not. It is a skill of the eye, being able to see the world not as a list of objects but as relationships between lines, curves and abstract shapes. If you can draw a stick figure (which contains all of the above) you can draw anything.
This workshop will open your eyes to a whole new world through various drawing exercises such as blind contours and negative space. All you have to do is jump in as say where's my pencil?!
