Their artistic endeavors have been featured in Somerset Studio magazine, and Signatures; and their microscope slide jewelry was featured in the Design Originals book: Simply Soldered. Thomas and Romona are teaching classes at an ever-growing number of national retreats as well as all over southern and central California. From their converted dining room, also known as 4 and Twenty Blackbird’s Artist Studio, Thomas and Romona express their eclectic visions in mixed media sculpture, jewelry, hand made journals, dolls, and other oddities with a special fascination for metal and glass. Finding much of their inspiration in classic literature, drama, and film, Thomas and Romona like to create wearable or functional objects in their imaginative and challenging workshops in which they bring their favorite stories to life as these “artifacts” and characters are transported from imagination into reality.
