To ensure that you get your book bound in class, it is very important that you purchase your watercolor paper and have it cut or torn into 6 by 10 inch pieces for the start of the first day of class. I used 300 lb paper because I wanted thick and sturdy pages to embellish; I got 9 pages per sheet of paper and have a book about one and a half inches thick. Also, since we want to learn tons techniques and finish our project, there will be a kit. There are a number of specific items that are needed and, so that everyone will start with everything, and the right things, that they need, we will bring the majority of the materials. A precise fit is needed on the 4 wooden base parts to eliminate sawing and sanding taking up all our class time.
What the student brings:
What is part of the kit and what Beckah is bring (not a complete list) Kit Fee is 20 dollars.
A complete list of what is used in the projects is contained in the instructions. The technique for making the statue will be demonstrated in class. So you can make your own statue, it just may not cure in time to use in class.
