Based on ideas and instruction from John Murphy’s book, “Stupid Sock Creatures”– I will show students how to make their own lovable Silly Sock Creature. I have chosen “Wronky” a rabbit eared type creature for the first project. Using just one pair of socks – ¼ bag of poly stuffing and two buttons a new creature will be born. I will also show how to accessorize and make clothes for their creatures. – I promise no two creatures will be alike.
The second creature will be an animal type creature with four legs and have a tail. I plan to show advance techniques such as hair, breasts, tail, shaped ears and horns. These adorable creatures are good companions and they put a smile on every ones faces. We will name and write a short bio revealing a little something about the true sock creature’s personality once it is completed.
