In this class we will use fabric, paper, paint, machine and hand stitching to create a unique and expressive mixed media portrait. I will show you my favorite techniques and applications for creating a rich background, her unique features and her flowing hair. We will go over my favorite painting methods, supplies and the various ways of embellishing your portrait. Use printed words from magazines or from your collection to further convey her mood or journal on your paper for an extra personal layer.

At the end of this class, you will have one (possibly two) finished portraits that reveals something About A Girl.....you.!
