Nuno felting is a fun, fast felting process that uses layering of wool and silk fibers on a lightweight fabric combined with water, soap, and lots of rolling and rubbing. Create a couple of beautiful felt scarves and felt fabric pieces with wool roving and hand dyed silk and cotton backing. The layering of the fibers and felting process create a ruched and unique effect that makes for a light, soft irregular shaped scarf with a nice drape and interesting texture. The surface can be embellished further with embroidery or needle felting when dry. Come join the fun in this energetic new felting process and leave with some beautiful scarves and fiber pieces to wear and share.
