Ethereal Fragment Squares Supply List:
- Sewing machine
- Staz-on ink (Saddle Brown or your favorite color)
- Craft or acrylic paint (3 assorted colors)
- Rubber stamps (I will have stamps in class, but if
you have a special one that you want to use bring it)
- 3 Disposable blows or cups (I like the plastic red
one’s)
- Muslin – Natural (1 yard)
- Organza (1 yard)
- 100% Cotton Scrim (1 yard) or cheesecloth (1
package)
- Wool felt: ½ yard, 2 colors (20% wool-80% rayon
blends or 35% wool- 65% rayon blends)
- Lace or old doilies (cotton is best)
- Decorative trim or fringe (a few feet)
- poly-fil (stuffed in a zip lock sandwich bag)
- Small elements to capture under organza or cheese
cloth embellishments such as ribbons, buttons, beads,
jewelry bits, trim, small sticks, shells or rocks (or
anything that you would like to embed in your piece)
- Threads: quilting and embroidery (colors to
complement your pallet)
- Needles: embroidery.
- Craft or quilting pins (to hold layers together for
sewing)
- Paper towels (I use viva)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Metal pie tin
- Tea light candle
- Awl (if you have one already)
- 20 inches of Cording (60% cotton 40% rayon, is the
best for tasseling)
- Book text or sheet music (a few pages for
background)
- Outdoor trash bag to use as a work surface.
