In this workshop you will make a simple canvas journal with a needle felted closure button and a painted canvas, fabric lined art folio bag to carry it in, along with your journaling supplies.  The journal can be made to fold a composition book instead of  attaching paper.  You will paint canvas and sew a bag and journal using simple techniques.  A sewing machine will make it go faster but it can be done by hand.  There are also some nifty embellishment techniques we will play with. This  fun project can take off into so many different directions.  So bring your imagination along with you to class.
