Wearable Journal- Girdle Book

This workshop is based on a medieval book structure known as the Girdle Book. The book is attached to a leather wrapper that has a long tapering tail which can be tucked under ones belt or girdle. This small portable journal will always be at your side for instant use. We will construct a non-adhesive accordion style binding that will be removable from the leather wrapper. Our journal will feature a magnetic closure incorporating a tintype photograph.
