Dazzling pages and letters- Gold and Beyond! There are many ways to add lovely metallics to your letters, titles and create accents and backgrounds for your journal pages. Not only will you learn an easy gold leafing/foiling technique -you’ll be introduced to metallic adhesives,gold leaf,wonder tape, glue pens, metallic powders, glitter gels and metallic pens . Variegated and stippling applications will create unique page looks. Duo adhesive, Wunda Size and fusible webbing will be presented-a virtual carnival of shade- your-eyes brilliance!

- Some good words you'd like to enrobe in gold or silver
- Small pointed brush-cheap
- Black paper pad-I like Strathmore Art-A- gain
- Other vivid colored paper that might look nice with foiling
- Your journal(s) for accenting in
- Stiff scrub brush
- Paper towels
- Water cup
- soft bristled flat paint brush-2” or so -I like those extra wide cheap Japanese white haired brushes
- soft wash cloth

A Little About ME
Lisa passionately pursues lettering of all types on all surfaces. She's a lettering artist and instructor in calligraphy and mixed media. Lisa teaches workshops and classes internationally specializing in lettering on fabric, experimental lettering and the creative process.
She is a self titled Letterista, somewhat a rebel and her unique style has landed her on the faculty of ten international lettering conferences. Lisa teaches at collage, quilting and alternative arts conferences nationwide. She is interested not only in classical letterforms but also alternative surfaces for lettering and current street influences on modern calligraphy.
