Attachments are the core theme in all of our journal entries. Attachments to people, places, images, visions, thoughts, emotions, experiences- you name it, they all make it into our intimate pages. In that sense, this workshop will not be any different. To muse and amuse us however, we will be adding other kind of attachments, more tangible, such as clear, opaque, and glassine envelopes, wrappers, CD and trading-card sleeves, etc., and we will also be making our own 'visual information holders'. They will contain our loose notes and images, representatives of our profound attachments. We will be creating journal pages that express those opposites that reside in us, the weighty and the light, the solemn and the whimsical, in yet another attempt to unify ourselves. Be prepared for heart- and hands-on journaling. Bring in your very own 'visual information holders' and I promise to treat you with some of mine.
