Making Faces

Participants will create unique mixed media portraits by drawing, painting and collageing. Learn the basic elements of drawing portraits. No drawing experience necessary! You will be making your faces on manila folders that you will layer with paint, fabric scraps, collage elements, transparencies, tracing paper and embellishments. Portraits can then be used as the beginning inspiration source for journaling with text and words. The face journal pages can be added to pre-existing journals or become separate journal pages.
