Sometimes the chore to find the perfect material in the desired color, thickness, price range and is acid free, can stifle ones creativity in the making of books. We will look to our surroundings to collect materials and inspire creations. The breakfast table, recycling bin, back yard, office and sometimes one’s own workspace can be a treasure trove of unsuspecting inspiration for materials to create unique journals. Book forms and beautiful materials are everywhere in our daily lives and once you start to look the possibilities are limitless. I will supply binding descriptions, needles, thread and glue that can be used to make journals out of our environment.
