Journal Spilling {Layers}

This workshop is an introduction to some of the techniques from my book, Journal Spilling, and will provide an encouraging atmosphere allowing you the space to tap into and strengthen your true voice and quiet your critic.

Today is all about working in layers: spill writing, color, collage, acrylic and textile paints, gesso, portfolios and collage fodder. Gesso will be smeared and scribed through, portfolios scribbled. Ink may be splattered, pages ripped and glued back together in this process-oriented class. You’ll carve a personal symbol eraser stamp to lend a personal voice to your journaling.

Working in a journal that jangles and expands with pockets brings another dimension to your journal enjoyment scale.

Warning: You may experience side effects: sense of freedom, flights of fancy and joy. You should not operate heavy machinery for two hours after taking this class.

Kit Fee $6
