Soulfood

No Theme; Just Extreme. In this workshop we will do 5 of my all -time favorite assignments that combine journal writing with art making in a book for self reflection, self dialogue, transformation, and healing. It’s going to be a smorgasbord of all things extreme: a little of this, a little of that. A dash of drawing, a cup of lettering, a layering of collage, some pickling of experimental mixed media surfaces, a tablespoon of writing, and a serious smatter of "reconciliation." This is rich food for the starving soul. Have a seat at my table of self- knowledge and introspection, reservations required, and feed yourself the kind of nurturing and sustenance you so rightfully deserve. We don’t aim to make art, we are after the explosive power and visual poetry of raw expression, but if our otherworldly inner vision should be beautiful, ah, that is just icing on the cake!

(no prior experience necessary but a certain level of self awareness is expected)
