Kristin has been in love with fabric, journaling and creativity since she was a tiny girl. Her passion for this self-expression led her to the quilt world where shes created, designed, taught and written about quilts nationally for 30 years.
For the last 6 years, Kristin has been absorbed in the “altered” world. She finds visual journaling exactly what she's been looking for, allowing her to use her beloved fabric in both book and journal formats. Her work is featured in The Art of Fabric Books and in Altered Board Books and Beyond, both by Jan Smiley. Her art graced the cover of the Spring 2006 issue of Cloth Paper and Scissors magazine. She taught at the amazing Artfest and again at Artfiberfest 2006.
Kristin adores anything to do with the creative process. Her most earnest wish is that we each uncover the genuine creative source residing deep within, then give it life through our work.
