Description

Come spend the day with me “sewing” with hammer, eyelets, eyelet setter, and Japanese screw punch a lovely little home for your favorite teapot, something to keep it warm while your favorite tea steeps and rests for the next cuppa. The house will be so inviting to look at that you won’t want to tuck it away in the kitchen cupboard, but will instead proudly display it as fabric art on your Art shelf with other favorite findings! The house is assembled in separate panels by way of torn fabric “ribbon”, laced through the eyelets, and can have found sticks, paintbrushes, knitting needles for “trees”, should you decide to further embellish your house. You may wish to pre-print your own panels ahead of class (see link below for instructions), and we’ll discuss transfer methods in class as well. At day’s end, we’ll all gather round with a pot of tea and biscotti to share as we discuss the day’s efforts. See you there!
