- Japanese screw punch with no. 3 tip (volcanoarts.biz or leevalleytools.com)
- Pinking shears, regular fabric scissors
- package of straight pins
- assorted soft narrow ribbon for assembly of house cozy a variety makes for a more interesting assemblage, so bring perhaps four or five yards assorted
.I like a drapey look, so the more, the better!
- Permanent stamp pads, rubber alphabet stamp set, optional
- Optional: Transparency film images, pre-printed (available from artchixstudio.com)
- You may want to bring some charms, buttons, etc to sew on and if so, bring needle and thread. This is only if time permits.
- ½ yard of pre-painted or printed muslin fabric, and ½ yard of plain felt, cut to pattern specifications enclosed ( cut muslin with plain fabric scissors, and felt with pinking shears) *see below for details
- 2 arched house shape pointed panels 10 tall, 7 wide either printed or painted fabric, and layered with 2 of the same shape and measurement of felt for thickness
- 2 rectangle side panels of printed or painted fabric, 6 x 7, and each will be layered with two pieces of the same shape and measurement of felt for thickness
- 2 rectangle roof panels, 5 x 7, layered with another layer of felt for thickness
