Small details can have a huge impact on your book creations. This workshop will explore a dozen different projects to close and embellish books: hardware attachments, rolled paper people beads, ribbon and tape belts, Japanese bone clasps with text, collaged man buttons, painted wood letter blocks, chain link clasps and more. We’ll apply all these treasures to the cover of your sketchbook, then add the ‘zine style instruction sheets to the inside pages, creating a way funky journal. You’ll use these ideas time and again to jazz up your art.
