Do you love the look of watercolor, but have never had any success when trying to use the medium yourself? I love watercolor, it is so subtle, luscious, beautiful and once you know a few tricks of the trade not as hard as it may seem at first. We will be going in depth into all possibilities of the medium, from wet vs. dry, layering, toweling, masking, to list a few. The first half of the class will be spent experimenting and getting a handle and comfort with the medium. For the second half of the class will be doing self-portraits using the techniques learned in the first half of the class. Don’t worry, no drawing skills required just an excitement to create!
